Battle of the Best

Every soloist will receive awards and gifts commemorating their participation and ranking and will be scored from highest to lowest in their group (by age, level, category). Competitors will also have opportunities to earn additional recognition throughout the competition.

🏆 Specialty Awards

Special awards will be presented to dancers who stand out for exceptional qualities, memorable performances, and achievements recognized throughout the competition.

⭐ Judges’ Recognition & Special Honors

Judges may recognize individual dancers for outstanding performances, artistry, technique, stage presence, and other exceptional qualities. In the Advanced division, Finalists will also be chosen to come back on the last day and compete again in the Battle of the Best round held on the last day!

💰 Cash Prizes

Our Solo Finalists will compete again in the final round and will have the opportunity to earn cash prizes, rewarding the highest-ranking dancers in the Battle of the Best competition.

👑 Battle of the Best Champion

The competition’s highest honor will be awarded to the dancer who rises to the top and is named the Battle of the Best Solo Champion earning a $2500 cash prize!

Every competitor will be recognized—but the biggest honors are reserved for those who rise to the top.

Every group of 2 athletes or more will receive awards commemorating their participation and ranking and will be scored from highest to lowest in their group (by age, level, category). Competitors will also have opportunities to earn additional recognition throughout the competition.

⭐ Specialty Awards & Recognition

Additional specialty awards may be presented to teams that demonstrate memorable qualities, exceptional performance moments, originality, teamwork, or other achievements worthy of special recognition.

🏆 Judges’ Choice Awards

Judges will have the opportunity to recognize standout group performances for exceptional qualities such as technique, choreography, creativity, entertainment, execution, and overall impact.

👑 Finalist & Championship Honors

Teams selected as Finalists will receive an invitation to compete again on the last day of Battle of the Best, where championship titles, the $2500 grand prize and our highest team honors will be awarded. Finalists will be decided based on scores and judges recommendations.

🎁 Participation Awards

All group entries will receive an award for participation. Group awards will be available for pickup throughout the event, allowing teams to receive their recognition without having to remain through the final day unless they are selected as Finalists.

✨ Final Awards Ceremony

Finalists will come together on the last day of the competition for our championship celebration, where the Battle of the Best Team Champions and top award recipients will be revealed.

The Battle of the Best Photogenic Contest is your opportunity to step in front of the camera, show your personality, and be recognized! Contestants will be ranked within their divisions, with awards presented based on final placement.

👑 Overall Photogenic King & Queen

One contestant will be crowned Overall Photogenic King and one contestant will be crowned Overall Photogenic Queen, representing the highest honors of the Photogenic Contest.

💰 $500 Cash Prize

Our Overall King and Overall Queen will EACH receive a $500 CASH PRIZE!

✨ Become the Face of Battle of the Best

The Overall King and Overall Queen will become a Face of Battle of the Best for one year, with opportunities to represent and be featured by the Battle of the Best brand.

📸 Featured for One Year

Overall winners may have opportunities to be featured throughout the year in advertisements, publications, website features, social media, promotional materials, and more.

🏆 Division Awards & Rankings

All Contestants will compete within their respective age divisions, with a Queen/King and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Attendants recognized in each division.

🎁 Every Participant Receives an Award

Every contestant will receive an award based on their final ranking. The Photogenic Contest is designed to recognize participants at every level while reserving our highest honors for the Overall King and Overall Queen.

📷 Specialty Photo Shoot

Photogenic Kings and Queens may be invited to participate in a specialty Battle of the Best photo shoot, with opportunities for selected images to appear in future Battle of the Best publications and promotional materials.
